SHIELD/ATLAS — Integration Patterns

ATLAS is a headless content + agentic-workflow engine first, an operator console second. Existing tools call ATLAS endpoints; the warfighter never has to learn another GUI. This page shows what consumes ATLAS today, what is wired and waiting, and what is on the roadmap.

Reviewer note. Per warfighter SME feedback: "the last thing a warfighter needs is another GUI and software." That is exactly the design constraint ATLAS was built to satisfy. The diagram below is the answer.

How to verify in 60 seconds

Any of the agent endpoints in /agents can be called directly with curl, wired to a Foundry action, registered as an AIP tool, or pulled into an NGIC2 widget. The same data, the same authority model, no new GUI for the warfighter.
